Welcome to my blog! I am not quite sure where to start nor have any idea where this blog will eventually go. However, after a long and exhausting internal battle, I have finally taken the plunge and committed myself to blogging.
This blog will contain my musings on the law, reproductive rights, social issues, politics and whatever else might get my dander up. Along the way, I will probably also share some photography that I find inspiring as well as talk about my beloved Dolphins and Lakers.
One of the reasons for my reticence in beginning this blog is that I tend to prefer to avoid the limelight. This might seem counter-intuitive given my profession and penchant for a good debate, yet nevertheless is the reason I have assiduously avoided blogging. So why the sudden change? Two reasons. First, I believe there is a void that exists for those that are interested in or involved with assisted reproduction. I desperately want to be involved in the creation of a community where those considering assisted reproduction, either as intended parents or as surrogates or egg donors, have a place to share their journey. This blog is the first of several projects I will be developing towards that end. Secondly, the recent controversy over the octuplet pregnancy stirred an anger in me that needed a release. Posting my thoughts to my Twitter account simply was not sufficient.

What you will not find there is that I am a dad of three wonderful children and engaged to an incredible woman who is finishing her Doctorate in Psychology. I hope that you find this blog to be informative and provocative as I muse about those things that both aggravate and inspire me. I also hope that you particpate, not only on this blog, but in the soon-to-be announced ventures we will be launching.
